Member Services Representative I

Title:  Member Services Representative I (Full time, Non-exempt)

 

Reports to:  Supervisor, Member Services

 

Role Summary:

 

  • Develop and maintain ongoing mastery of BuyEfficient Platform and other BE technologies
  • Answer and assist with customer support calls and emails with responsiveness, timeliness and courtesy
  • Identify and resolve challenges and concerns expressed by customers, elevate if where appropriate
  • Assist with various company projects
  • Assist with accounting functions as assigned
  • Develop and maintain ongoing knowledge of BuyEfficient vendor programs
  • Monitor and maintain EDI accounts
  • Provide support on holidays or weekends when required

  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills to all levels
  • Team player that will take the initiative to get things done
  • Excellent computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of hospitality purchasing and/or Food & Beverage experience
  • Understanding of supply management within the hotel industry
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills

 

Education and Experience:

2 plus years of general hospitality industry related experience
