Darcy Weidner

Vice President, Technology

Darcy serves as the Vice President, Technology for BuyEfficient. Since 2003 Darcy has spearheaded the development and maintenance of the BuyEfficient's web based purchasing software, hardware environments, and system reporting capabilities across the business enterprise. Darcy's core skill-set as a computer programmer and technology expert have been a major contributor for supporting BuyEfficient's rapid Member growth over the past several years. Most recently Darcy architected and deployed the next generation interface and functionality of the iBuyEfficient.com purchasing portal, and the development of B.E.'s internal reporting capabilities vital for helping Members extract maximum value from using BuyEfficient. 

Before joining BuyEfficient, Darcy served as the Lead Database Architect at PurchasePro.com where he was intimately involved in the design and development of the PurchasePro e-Commerce application.  In addition he has more than 10 years of leading-edge software engineering experience. Darcy is an Oracle Certified Professional, and a Sun Certified Java Programmer.

Darcy graduated with a diploma in Computer Systems Technology from Camosun College, Canada.
